I started with the grilled octopus with pine nuts, arugula, black olives in a myer lemon and balsamic vinaigrette and was blown away. I couldn't wait to get to my main course. I ordered the rack of lamb with a cranberry and dijon mustard crust. It was perfectly cooked, delightfully tender and the red currant glaze along with the savoyarde potatoes were a perfect compliment. Chocolate crepes for dessert flambeed in grand marnier, warm chocolate sauce and homemade banana bourbon ice cream finished this dining experience on a high note. P.S. the Caymus special selection didn't hurt. Ctreme where have you been! abousloutly will return!!
Went for dinner and had reservations for 745. Came at 730 and were told to come back at 745 and our table would be ready. Arrived promply again at 745 and we were told it would be another 15-20 minutes. I told them we would go grab a drink at the 4 seasons and return in 1/2 hour. When we returned back 25 min later the hostess told us that the manager had given our table away. She said that they were just going to clear another table and we would be sat in 10 mintutes. As soon at the table was set up the manager sat someone else at the table. When we asked to speak to the general manager the hostess said - hey I never promised the party anything. Very unprofessional.
I came to Creme Brasserie not knowing what to expect, and was delighted when my husband and I were greeted by a charming hostess. We had to wait a few minutes for a table - it was during Summerlicious and it was packed! - but after a bit of a wait we were seated promptly. The food was terrific and their desserts were made in-house, a nice way to end the meal for both of us. Their outdoor patio was lovely in the summer - maybe a bit smokey at times - but I would definitely come back.
My wife and I had dinner at this beautiful Yorkville restaurant. They have a tent over the patio which provided much needed relief from the hot sun.Lobster salad with canteloupe and fresh mint was fresh, tender and so moist it melted in my mouth. My wife had the salmon she reaally enjoyed it. The service was as good as the food and Ricardo was a most grascious host.
